Now the fuel gauge has stopped working!

Driving in to work this morning I noticed that the fuel gauge was at the bottom of the scale. I didn't think I was that low on petrol, so I pulled in to a garage and topped it up anyway, it would be embarrassing to get caught out and have to call the AA again. It didn't need a full tank to fill her up so I guessed the problem was with the fuel level sender.

When I got to work I opened the boot to find that one of the connectors had come off the sender. I've got too much in the boot and something must of dislodged it. I must clear that boot, most of it is tools just in case I have a problem.

I reconnected the wire and the fuel gauge works fine now. I guess if I ever get round to upgrading the interior of the car I should board and carpet the boot, that way the connector will be protected.
